This leash is perfect for jogging, walking or any other time you would like your hands free while your dog is on lead.
The belt part of the leash is 1.5" wide and wrapped in fleece with ribbon on top and is made like our dog collars, it has a plastic buckle and floating 'D' ring, its very comfortable. The 'D' ring floats so if your dog switches sides the whole belt won't twist around your body.
The leash part is high strength nylon webbing with a clip on each end, there is also a small fixed 'O' ring 12" from the clip on one side so you can unclip from your belt and attach the clip to this 'O' ring and make a handle, it will be lined with fleece so it will be nice and soft on your hands. You could also use the 'O' ring to attach poop bags.
We have also designed this leash so its adjustable, it will adjust half the length of the total length, so a 6 ft lead can become as small as 3 ft, this is a great feature for if you start your run in a more urban setting and end up in the city you can make your leash small so your dog can't get as far away from you.
The leash is not a bungee and has no give to it, we designed it this way as I find the bungee to cause more tug and pull on both dog and owner as well as you never know exactly how far your dog will be able to extend.
The other great thing about this leash is you can customize it, choose your belt fleece and ribbon color as well as your lead color, you also have different leash widths and lengths and lets not forget the monogramming, put a name or saying on your belt to keep you motivated.

A little story on the creation of this leash...
I was planning to run a few different dog runs for charity with my Lab Rosco and didnt want to run while holding on to his leash as he is a puller and loves to run.
I searched a bunch for one I could buy but most had the bungee which I personally didnt like because he is a very friendly dog who likes to say hi to people and other dogs so I like to know exactly how far he can get on a leash, it also encourages him to pull which I dont appreciate when running with him. I did find some that were all nylon webbing but so was the belt and I didnt think that would be very comfortable.
So I decided to design exactly what I wanted and what I felt was the perfect jogging leash and thats what you see with the Dog Dash Hands Free Leash.
I use it quite a lot and it has worked out great and of course Rosco loves it.
